As an IT service provider, I understand better than anyone how essential reliable data and visibility are for effective communication. After careful consideration, we have decided to completely leave Twitter – now known as X.

Why We Are Leaving Twitter (X)

Recent developments on Twitter have been pivotal in our decision:

  • Social Responsibility: Inspired by campaigns like DetoX and other initiatives standing against misinformation and manipulation, we feel a duty to no longer contribute to a platform that fosters polarization and the spread of hate. We are committed to actively supporting a healthier online environment.
  • Weakened Moderation: Since the extensive reorganization, the number of moderators has drastically decreased. This has resulted in a lack of necessary oversight, leading to an abundance of hateful, racist, and misleading content. Such an environment conflicts with our professional values and our commitment to maintaining a safe and respectful communication space.
  • Unreliable Visibility: Significant changes to the platform’s algorithm have made message visibility unpredictable and inconsistent. This not only diminishes the effectiveness of our communication but also undermines the integrity of our data.

 

Our Vision for the Future

By leaving Twitter completely behind, we will focus our communication efforts on alternative channels that:

  • Offer Consistent and Reliable Visibility: Allowing us to deliver our message transparently and effectively.
  • Foster a Safe and Constructive Dialogue: Choosing platforms that facilitate open and respectful debates without the harmful side effects of misinformation.

This decision represents a conscious commitment to the quality and integrity of our communication.
